Persistence only works when its for the right reasons. This is what I've come to learn. You can bug someone all day long for something totally self centered and it doesn't make them want to give it to you any more than when you asked the very first time. This can go for many different scenarios. Including, when you are gunning for a career in Music. One of the biggest reasons Persistence doesn't work this way is burnout. I use to want so bad for anyone to hear me, and come save me. No one (no one honest) came and I ran out of not only energy, but motivation. At that point it wasn't even about me anymore, it was about everybody else, hell anybody else. Now, improving your craft, building (BUILDING) your brand, improving and developing self, all for the benefit of your highest self and quality of your brand; All of those things take time and… (you guessed it) Persistence. But, persistence the right way. It's like a tool, you gotta hold it and use it correctly right? Or it just doesn't work. Like the Ikea dresser my ex built backwards… He Had all the right pieces, he just didnt put it together correctly. Had to start All over again and rebuild. ;) Dropping jewels ya'll, dropping jewels Haha
